In every other legitimate business, a failure to produce a net profit, year after year without change, is a sure sign that the business is a failure. In Amway, up-line tells you that losing money is a sign of future success.<br /><br />The spectacularly fraudulent "tool scam" in Amway and its various LOS subsystems is the real money-drain for IBOs. Amway IBOs don't have a fighting chance when they are hooked into Standing Order, and CommuniKate, and endless meetings and functions. If all you are doing in sales is a crummy 100PV, you are losing money steadily.<br /><br />And yes, it is now next to impossible in North America to recruit any down-line. Nobody wants to hear "the Plan." You might as well be trying to sell pork chops in Tel Aviv.
