Amway - Amway Makes You Rich!

Amway can make you rich. Many IBOs say they were told that Amway was not "get rich quick". But obviously, someone must have given them the impression that Amway would eventually make them rich, otherwise, why would anyone join? Why would anyone want to work that hard and embarrass themselves in front to friends and family to promote a business that will more likely get you funny looks than money. But can Amway actually make you rich?

Well, yeah, Amway can make you rich if you are a diamond selling voicemail services, books, standing orders and function tickets. Amway can make you rich if you own Amway and sell to millions of IBOs who "buy from themselves". Amway can make you rich if you write a book that millions of IBOs purchase. Amway can make you rich if you can get enough loyal downline to keep purchasing products so that you can get the bonuses. But aside from these few people who I just described, the Amway opportunity is more likely to make you broke, or at least lighter in the pockets.

Most IBOs do not even earn enough to cover their monthly voicemail expenditures, much less the other support materials that are pushed on the downline in groups such as WWDB or BWW, or N21. These materials are touted as the "key to success" in Amway when in reality, it is the key to success for the uplines who share in the profits from these materials. The real kicker is despite claims that these materials are key to success, the uplines get their followers to blame themselves if the system doesn't work for them. Kind of like tossing a coin and saying "heads I win, tails you lose". Upline wins as long as you buy support materials from them, and your results are of no consequence to them. In fact they probably don't want new diamonds as they would then have to share the tool money.

So can Amway make you rich? I would guess it is possible, but it is also possible for you to win the powerball lottery. It takes normally, over 100 downline IBOs to create a platinumship. And a platinumship occurs less than once in 200 IBOs. And at that level, you likely make little profit or break even. That tells me a whole lot. What does it tell you?

Yes, I agree, thanks for encouraging me, I'm more confident now.

I'm confident that your money can help your upline get rich too!

I have no problem with that. Mutual help is much welcome.

Although I understand where a lot of this sentiment is coming from, it is absolutely insane to think that a down line of six IBO's would only net 700 points. If that is the case they simply aren't trying or are being led astray by their upline. I am not saying your experience is wrong at all. Your experience is your experience and everyone is entitled to their own. It clearly didn't work out for you when you were an IBO. Much of that blame could be place specifically on your upline. So instead of flaming the entire system why don't you flame your upline? Is it really Amway-Globals fault your upline seemed to have failed you? Or is it the fact that clearly you thought the process and the rewards would be different. Did you have illusions of grandeur, making seven figures without having to go to work, or did you join just to make some money on the side to help with rent checks or car payments?

I'm in the business and yeah its possible to make some money. I love the companies products. But when I joined i Wasn't ready for the flip side of the business which was the education system. If you did make some money hey let your education tools, cds, books, driving, contacting going to functions etc take what you made. The funny thing about it is the more successful ones usually have backgrounds in egineering or professions that already pay alot.
Pretty hard to compete if your between the ages of 21-25 if your working an average job.

100 dollars for a function thats crazy. It doesn't even pay for hotel room cmon. Then lmao you get sit in a conference and listen to people talk for hours. Then there is people selling suits and mens womens wear etc so you can really spend your money. Sometimes i think the people forGet we here to learn how TO MAKE MONEY NOT LOSE IT. NO wonder people think its a SCAM. You know you can go into a casino and everyone can tell you can BE A WINNer, but a majority lose all the money they had.

ITS a good business if YOU CAN AFFORD to SAcrifice and lose money. But if your barely getting by now and your in the business TAKE YOUR TIME DONT LISTEN to PEOPLe wanting you to buy more tools because the end result is you lost money they didn't. BE TRUE to you own instincts cause they will throw you in a financial hole and be working another person the sponsor and won't care.

If anybody has doesn't like what I am saying hey don't go up to prospects telling them you can help them make a lot money when your bluffing. Trust me this right here is only the tip of the iceburg.

my marriage is over in large part to amway. my husband kept us destitute and in debt pouring minimum wage funds into "the business", functions, and bsm for over 10 years. he would constantly quit jobs, thinking if he just dedicated more time to recruiting, he would be rich. he missed birthdays and holidays to go to seminars. he wouldnt go on a date with me unless i went to a function, in the hopes that i would finally join. and apparently, he says its my fault he failed because he was told the business has a better chance of success with a married team. he is homeless and jobless and in debt right now and he is still managing to do busness realted stuff, hoping that this will be the turning point. cautionary tale for ya. thats all im saying. no criticisms. no judgements.
