Hi,
I think that some facts that are in support of Amway should be recognised:
* They are one of the largest debt free companies in the world.
* They have made more millionaires than almost any other company.
* The books provide are all written by established business owners and entrepreneurs, most of who have made their money in traditional businesses, why wouldn’t read a book about success written by a successful person? It’s like reading a book about law, written by a lawyer?
* The company has been audited and analysed thousands of times because good for nothing people who just want to sit around and complain rather than get off their fat arses and do something with their lives try and knock a perfectly legitimate business model because they don’t have what it takes to succeed, and the company is still one of the largest in the world.
* Amway has been around for more than 50 years? How long do scams last, honestly?
So take these facts into account before you try and criticize a way of making money that has helped millions of people achieve their goals,.

Joe's commentary: It sure looks like the same old same old that upline leaders have been teaching for years now. This sounds like something you might have heard 15 years ago. Those who claim things are different must just see the world through rose colored glasses or something.

idiots!
amway is a joke.
This is the same garbage I heard when I was an IBO with Amway. It still does not change the facts like an IBO only makes on average 115 dollars a month.
Still does not change the fact that most IBO's loose money due to Functions, CD's, Gas, Lodging, Food etc.
The facts are something Loyal IBO's do not like to hear and are hard to defend. The fact is when IBO's cant defend there point they resort to the same old crap, that you must be lazy, and broke.
If you work the program and have a little bit of luck, success can be achieved. How do you figure the upline leaders got to where they are? Is it a conspiracy? Doubtful. They worked to get where they're at. And no, not EVERYONE will be successful, as in any endeavor. BTW, I don't sell Amway, my parents did and failed with it, but they weren't bitter. They were honest with themselves.
Hi Anonymous @August 16th. The upline leaders got into Amway in the early days. Because Amway has a once a diamond, always a diamond philosophy, we don't know who is actually a diamond anymore. What we have now, are upline leaders who actually make tons of money selling training and tools to their downline. Many of these upline leaders lie and deceive their downline and profit that way.
It is why many people say you can earn more than your sponsor, but you can't earn more than one of the powerful upline leaders because they would prevent such an even from happening. Ever wonder why nobody has "walked away" from Amway to collect that residual income that IBOs dream about?
Are you aware that two thirds of amway employees make less than $151 A YEAR!!!!!!! The amount that make over $45K a year is .6%, THAT'S AROUND 1 IN 167 PEOPLE. Did you conveniently choose to ignore those facts, you insensitive prick
Amway is the biggest garbage i have ever heard about brain washing innocent people
Amway is looting people by selling its products at extraordinary high prices.
THEY CLEARLY EXPLAIN WHAT IT TAKES TO MAKE MONEY IN THIS BUSINESS. PEOPLE CONTINUE TO NOT ACCOMPLISH WHAT IS NEEDED AND STILL COMPLAIN AND WONDER HOW THEY ARE NOT MAKING MONEY.
Wow...do your research.
Simple, you make money by selling cds, voicemail and seminars.
Everyone has a different view and have the freedom to express it. Things are different for people who think high and have a good image of self and for them there is no place for such negativity.
looks like we caught a brainwashed innocent person at 3:25! hahaha :)
Its funny to hear the folks who have tried and not succeeded blame their lack of success on a multi billion dollar debt free company who is providing thousands of jobs worldwide. Who has contracts with companies like Disney, Apple, Dell to name a few.
Now there is problems with lines of sponsorship (upline) sometimes and business owners have to be honest with themselves (accountable) that they didnt do the work it took to make this business work for them. Any business has processes that are needed to be successful and if you dont do them well you dont succeed. Stop blaming, making excuses and just be honest with yourself on how much or how little you really did to make it work. This is not a lottery, its business and it works.
It's not necessarily Amway but the training companies such as WWDB or BWW that are to blame. They teach ineffective techniques which lead to failure and losses. Amway has contracts with Disney and Dell? All they do is sell their stuff. Disney doesn't sell Amway. Also, don't forget Amway's former contracts with Enron and Worldcom. Let's not forget those.
Amway is not a lottery but their success rate is similar to one.
What you don't mention is most of those Ibo s do absolutely nothing,
Employees?
Name calling just shows your ignorance and immaturety.
Don't buy them
How do you make money when most people do nothing?
Hello everyone, i m from India n recently joined Amway. Amway started their business in 1998 in India. I heard about it in 2000, and thought this type of company doesn't work and doesn't succeed. But from very beginning Amway is continuously growing and ABOs earning handsome money. Many unsuccessful people are there in market, who don't know about products, company and just jump to make money at earliest. They consider Amway as shortcut to make money. But you should work hard to succeed in this business. I saw many people who succeeded in this business. May be unsuccessful people don't proper guided or trained, to do business. Income is different from person to person, irrespective of your level.
You my dear sir have read the compound effect and the seven habits of highly effective people. Work must be put into effect for any success.
You have read the compound effect and 7 habits of highly effective people I see. It takes hard work to achieve any level of success, which is why most stay in the hamster wheel. Amway or not, you can't settle for mediocrity to achieve greatness.
Where can you NOT work and make money....Try it where you work.... Don't blame people for dreaming and wanting to do something nontraditional. If you are happy with what you are doing.. so be it. Lazy people will not be successful with any endeavor.
The problem with Amway is you don't make money even if you work hard. Never mind the part about those who don't work.
very good to know
