Get Amway Products Cheaper By Not Purchasing From Amway?

One of the things that Amway defenders like to whine about is the money back guarantee made by Amway and the tool companies. Thus an IBO has low risk by joining and usiing the products and tools. But I wonder how well known this money back guarantee is among the rank and file IBOs? I mean if IBOs knew this and it was as easy to get your money back as claimed, why are there countless numbers of IBOs selling Amway products and tools at incredibly discounted rates? If CDs cost $7 or so, why would someone be selling them in lots of 60 for $10? Why would someone sell lots of 6 glister toothpaste for $22? Is the money back guarantee a myth or is upline simply combative with their downline IBOs who want to return product?

I recently did some searched on ebay and craigslist and if you google ebay amway products or craigslist amway products, you get hoards of stuff for sale. Many of them at prices that cannot be matched even by Amway. Maybe a wise person would just buy them and return them to Amway, or buy the unopened tools and return them to upline. Apparently the IBOs who are selling these gems could not or would not simply return them to Amway or their upline. How can that be when Amway apologists swear on a stack of Bibles that returning stuff is so easy and convenient?

Now I am quite certain that someone who called Amway would be able to return stuff. But I suppose it's possible that the caller will be refered to an upline or sponsor somewhere? As an IBO, we just returned stuff to the platinum, which rarely occured. I wonder if things have changed? I wonder what answer an upline would give someone who said that last major function sucked and wanted their $125 back? Note on my link that people are selling BWW and WWDB tools. How could anyone part with such valuable information for such a small price? LOL

Maybe IBOs should shop ebay and craigslist before they make Amway purchases. Some of the seller offer free shipping even if the purchase is below $75. You could have substantial savings buying Amway products and tools from sources other than Amway!

:-)

Maybe the person whom is selling the stuff on eBay is a Diamond in the business and that's how they get their PV up?, they buy from Amway and sell online for a smaller price just for PV?

Back in the day when I ws building the business, there were several individuals who were building as well. We used to get paid 10,000 per speaking engagement at the top level and you could get invited to to speak at over 12 major functions per year at minimum and could be invited to just as many if not more seminars accross the country. There were several who reached high pin levels and rented a warehouse and had false sponsored people who they ordered the product under and stored at the warehose then the product was sold at ridiculous low prices to continue to qualify at top pins and earn the speaking money. Hope that helps

People do not return the item because: shipping. You will get your money back for the item, but not the shipping both ways, which can be the same price as the product itself.

I am a new IBO and this was a very helpful and enlightening comment about the organization I joined. Has me seriously wondering if it is possible to be honest and successful in this organization? If not, I am not going to do very well.

In order to recruit and maintain your downline, you would have to give them hope, even though you know that 99% or more will fail and lose money. Amway is a flawed system.

Is it possible to make money by just selling products that I believe in? And encourage people to join who want to have access to the wholesale prices, instead of buying through me?

It is possible but Amway's prices are higher than most other retailers and when you add i the cost of shipping, it's hard to sell Amway products.

a family member is an ibo. this has nothing to do with selling amway products. its sad cause all the negative i read about it is true. most of their posessions have been pawned so they can afford to go to the elaborate cult meetings. sad sorry organization

i have family who started being an ibo. its clear that it is nothing about selling these overpriced products to others. its all about the up lines grabbing all that money from signing up another ibo. 200 x million pipl equals alot of money. sad cause that ibo is pawning their stuff to make it to the expensive cult meetings and waiting for the dream to become reality. no dream just a nightmare. con job.

Yes, when I was an IBO, the upline asked who needed help to get to a function. The upline said to go sell something. but they didn't mean to sell Amway products. They meant to go sell jewelry or some other big items to pay for the next function.

There are ways around selling Amway online WITHOUT racking up inventory. If you are using Ebay to sell the products, you can make a profit by selling at equal or more than the retail value. When an item is sold via Ebay, the seller automatically receives payment and customer contact information. As a result, the IBO can create a customer profile and used the payment to ship directly to the client from Amway. Unless the customer ask you to delete their profile, you have customers for future sales.

IBOs NEED to think outside the box. STOP selling to individuals and start selling to other businesses. Your upline doesn't have to know who you are selling the products to. Start creating teams that focus on a specific product and reach out to business and events where large volumes can be sold. Start reaching out to social media influencers to market your products on your behalf. Some may ask for payment, but the exposure will benefit you.

DO NOT attend a function unless it is beneficial to you AND your business. What's your upline going to do? Fire you?

It's against Amway rules to sell Amway products on ebay or craigslist.

Although Amway offers a money-back guarantee on its products in theory, in actual fact it is next to impossible for an IBO to get back any money at all from the company if he tries. He will be given a complete runaround, and told that it is "too difficult" or "not possible."

I mean consider this: if you lose somebody on your down-line, your up-line will tell you to continue paying for Ditto and Standing Order for the person, even though the person is no longer part of Amway. Could anything be more stupid than that?

The simple fact is that once Amway gets money out of you, it is next to impossible for you to ever see that money again, without a legal threat.

Agreed. That's why MLM's that brag about their "money back guarantee" are blowing smoke. It sounds impressive until you try to invoke it.

You can't sell Amway products on social media. It's a waste of time.
