Amway can make you rich. Many IBOs say they were told that Amway was not "get rich quick". But obviously, someone must have given them the impression that Amway would eventually make them rich, otherwise, why would anyone join? Why would anyone want to work that hard and embarrass themselves in front to friends and family to promote a business that will more likely get you funny looks than money. But can Amway actually make you rich?
Well, yeah, Amway can make you rich if you are a diamond selling voicemail services, books, standing orders and function tickets. Amway can make you rich if you own Amway and sell to millions of IBOs who "buy from themselves". Amway can make you rich if you write a book that millions of IBOs purchase. Amway can make you rich if you can get enough loyal downline to keep purchasing products so that you can get the bonuses. But aside from these few people who I just described, the Amway opportunity is more likely to make you broke, or at least lighter in the pockets.
Most IBOs do not even earn enough to cover their monthly voicemail expenditures, much less the other support materials that are pushed on the downline in groups such as WWDB or BWW, or N21. These materials are touted as the "key to success" in Amway when in reality, it is the key to success for the uplines who share in the profits from these materials. The real kicker is despite claims that these materials are key to success, the uplines get their followers to blame themselves if the system doesn't work for them. Kind of like tossing a coin and saying "heads I win, tails you lose". Upline wins as long as you buy support materials from them, and your results are of no consequence to them. In fact they probably don't want new diamonds as they would then have to share the tool money.
So can Amway make you rich? I would guess it is possible, but it is also possible for you to win the powerball lottery. It takes normally, over 100 downline IBOs to create a platinumship. And a platinumship occurs less than once in 200 IBOs. And at that level, you likely make little profit or break even. That tells me a whole lot. What does it tell you?

I'm over 50 but no one ever showed be this business.
Wonderful post this for all prospects. When you are a prospect listening to Amway business plan mostly you can not imagine the realities of the business which are correctly listed in paragrah two of this blog post. Unfortunately, Key to success books look like a library for a new comer and mostly he is stunned to see the different set of 'knowledge' Amway business can give. So all good impression tactics work mostly and that's why I was also an IBO. But what I did not understand was, when will you ever stop reading those? Never! The reasoning is, this is a duplication business, if you do not read your downlines who are new may not read and your business is built on downlines success. Fair enough, when any activity is called a business which is beyond pop-mom store, you should have people who are experts in different fields and they should act by themselves. But here for the sake of duplication IBOs end up doing many things and keep losing money.
Amway can make you well off ( I would not say rich) if you realise how it works. That's what the leaders do. All the arguments that false hopes are touted, diamonds fake it, products are expensive , tools will make most people broke, sponsoring is difficult etc are correct but not relevant. This business is all about putting the plan before people and teaching/motivating them to do the same. You just need to keep doing. All the rest doesn't matter. Certainly it explains why a large majority make zero . But the leaders ignore all that that's why they make it.
wow, that was a load of BS if i'd say so myself!
IBOs lose money because they spend on tools. They should just show the plan and sponsor
I think these books , tools etc are a waste. Why would anybody agree to pay for them. Tell me one other business where these are needed. So why here.
I have realized in life that the people who do not succeed always find someone to blame. Amway can make you rich. I know this from experience. My sister is a Diamond and it took a lot of hard work. The problem with people when they get into the business is that they are looking for a silver bullet, a quick-fix. They want all the rewards without the work and when they do not put in all the work and fail then the company is a scam. If Amway is a scam then the company you work for is a bigger scam. You will always be an employee who could get fired one day without any notice. You joined the business for the wrong reasons. I have observed in your articles that you keep mentioning your uplines and what they say but you should have a mind of your own and do the business your way. I am a Platinum IBO and I am not on standing order. Nobody can force you to do anything. Your upline can just recommend to you what he/she does based on his/her experience.
blah blah blah
You cannot spell and can't use your native language. I am not convinced that you know what you are talking about.
You do not "keep doing". The only one making money is the company that you buy the overpriced product from and your "learning materials".
+1
I like how the guy above me just said "blah, blah, blah". He had nothing to say. I wonder what is he in life? besides being on the internet hating!
you mean like me? lol i have plenty to fucking say about your fucking scambot ass and all of fucking piece-of-shit scamway:
*finger*
now how's THAT for something to say? :D
**proud Amway hater**
well i want to join but i wanna make sure its not a scam.. i been to a couple meetings and i like it. but i still not sure if its something i should invest in. whats ur views
avoid. :)
If you are intelligent and a hard worker, it is an excellent business opportunity.
An "excellent business opportunity"? Amway?
You must be smoking some pretty strong weed, pal.
wanna know something im an ibo and i am also a q12 platinum it took me about a year but that is where i made i get a monthly check of over $3000 i am bringing in $56000 and im only 19 years old and i dont need a job because i am only growing the only reason anyone says it is a scam is because they when they didn't want to put the work in i have worked my ass off but in the end i have made a success of myself so before you judge explore your opportunities given if it is not for you then back out its that easy
Wow, your story might be the biggest load of BS I've seen in quite a while. LOL
The guy is 19 years old, has been in Amway for a year, and is now a q12 Platinum?
Huh? Is he tripping out on heroin or something? That has got to be the biggest fantasy since Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Oh, I get it -- he posted it on April 1st (April Fool's day).
Keep working a 9-5 till you die in debt, at least this guy had the balls to take control of his own future
I'm already retired comfortably, and I'm only in my 50's. I did it without Amway.
Yes. Just focus on sponsoring new prospects and provide a good service, guidance and personal assurance that you are always there for any support they may need. As far as so-called tools are concerned, just guide your new business partners to connect to youtube etc for lot of information on any of Amway topics or the products.
To Unknown at 6:49 PM --
Are you the same Unknown who claims to be a q12 Platinum, only one year in the Amway business?
If so, you're the biggest liar since Baron Munchausen.
@ JoeCool you have worked for your owner business. I see you said you are comfortably retired at 50, Did you help someone else retire outside of your spouse or direct family members? No, probably not. When I was in, I worked my ass off to help other people make it to financial freedom. You in a traditional brick and mortar helped how many to retire by 50? How many millionaires have you helped to create? I would assume one is the answer - you. So you are calling a company that truely gives anyone willing to put in the hard work, a company that offer someone an option to help others make a comfortable living a scam. You should probably think about that again. From what I see, the person sitting on top of the job pyramid is the only one becoming wealthy - that is a true pyramid. Yes, in your business, you provide people an hourly wage for the work they put in. If they didn't work you fire them. You are the only one getting paid to live while your employees are living to work. The business I am in now (also an MLM) has created many millionaires of which three I know directly and we call one another close friends. They are all retired from going to a job and have been for years (the oldest is 37). Let me tell you the craziest thing about them... They do not go sit on their lazy retired asses and get on the net to give their opinion of something they have never done, they lock armed with the people in their down line and train them how to accomplish what they have. So from the seat that I am sitting in... Money talks and BS walks... your permid scheme is apparent... get off your ass and go help someone live your dream. MLM or not, you have to put the work into get paid. Opinions- just like a-holes, every one has one!
Your comment is so full of it I find it hard to even craft a response. Prove that Amway has created any millionaires other than the owners. And even if some of those diamonds are/were millionaires, I guarantee you that the number of Amway millionaires is less than the general population in the US. AND, I might add, they became millionaires by ripping off their downline. The fact of the atter is that the vast majority of people are better off without Amway. So what if Amway helped to create a few millionaires while tens of millions lose money trying to duplicate their upline? You call jobs a pyramid, but you confuse a a corporate hierarchy for the Amway pyramid. In a company, even the lowest ranking employee earns a guaranteed wage or salary and has money at the end of the month. That isn't true in Amway where you can have the majority of active IBOs suffering losses because of system related business expenses (seminars, voicemail, standing orders).
Money talks you say? How come upline will tell you "none of your business" when you ask for proof that they actually make money?
To Anonymous at July 10, 5:31 AM --
Since when does anyone go into business to help OTHER PEOPLE get rich? You're in your MLM to help others become millionaires?
Are you stupid or something?
In your post, you suggest that you are not in Amway, but in some other MLM. Well, I suggest this: you are a goddamned liar. Why the hell would you be here at an anti-Amway blog unless you had some vested interest in the company and its workings? Did you show up here just by accident?
Your entire post smells of Amway bullshit. And the biggest load of crap is your idea that in an MLM you can "help others to succeed." This is the typical Amway line, given to IBO losers who can't make a dime. Even if you don't make money, you are "becoming a better person," and you are "helping others to succeed."
I cant believe how many idiots are posting stuff they know nothing about. I started at the bottom just like everyone else in Amway. If you believe in yourself and put other people first. You can also succeed just as I have. Its an opportunity not a guarantee. And if u have a shitty attitude like Joecool and so many others you will find failure, because thats what you expecting to find. But if you work hard and listen to those who have found success they will show you how to achieve also. If you truly understood the Comp.Plan... it pays to help others, which is obvious all of these haters have no intention of doing. They just want to increase their feeling of self worth by sounding like they know something. I make $65k and my biz increased 20% in the last 3 months. So who knows more about what I do them or me? Be careful who you listen too it could cause you to miss an amazing chance. If you haters couldnt make it in Amway its because of your shitty attitude. Not because of Amway.
Ron, you're full of crap. No matter how good your attitude is, you still need 7500 PV monthly to qualify for platinum. And when Amway prices are not competitive with retailers, you are at a serious disadvantage. Not only that, your resources are drained monthly by attending functions and buying support materials. I fully understand the comp plan and can show the plan better than most IBOs. The comp plan sucks even if your upline says it's fair. The one who sells the product gets the smallest amount and layers of upline share the lion's share of the bonus. If Amway pays 30+ percent back in bonuses, a new IBO who sells something gets nothing unless they exceed 100 PV and if they make 100 PV, they get only 3%. Upline, some of who may not even know the IBO, will share the other 27+ percent of that Amway bonus. And why does upline gain that benefit forever? Simply because they joined Amway before the IBO who actually did the work.
Ron spouts the typical "blame-the-victim" argument. Amway is never wrong or flawed -- the people who fail in it are lazy, or "haters."
Ron, you're an asshole. And if you make $65,000 a year I'm sure that most of it comes from your J.O.B.
Ron,
Thank you for your input and I am glad your business increased by 20%. That is a very exciting growth rate. I will have to disagree with your feelings about all of the bloggers here. I built a very large Amway business and experienced a lot of success. Other than having 4 front line legs over 7500 PV. I had several downline Q-12 Platinums, platinums and silvers and above. My wife and I personally qualified for Achievers 11 times. My largest 1099 from Amway was just under 80K. Not only that, but we spoke at functions all over the Country and were well compensated for that. I have loved the business, lived the business and grew to a point where I saw everything these bloggers are writing about. Fact:The average IBO sponsors less than 1 person. Fact: The average IBO spends way more on tools and functions than he ever makes. Fact: The average IBO is in debt way over their head because upline promotes tools for their own financial gain. Take a real hard look at your 20% Growth. If 90% of it is from IBO self consumption you have a very unstable business. If the 20% growth means you have 20% more IBO's than before, that is meaningless. I am not sure what the 20% number you are referring to represents but, unless it represents customer PV and dollars you do not have along term sustainable business model. I wish you much success and encourage you to look at true business volume. Don't fall into the trap of thinking you are going to be rich because your function count, tool count, open meeting count or IBO count is up 20%. How many IBO's on your team are truly too profitable to ever quit. That's the key. Your upline will not talk about that. They will just keep recognizing "good decisions" when people spend money or do crazy things to get to the functions. Judge your business on facts. When you have several hundred people who are too profitable to quit, you have a good business. I still enjoy monthly income from Amway and I haven't been to a function or bought an Audio in 12 years.
Good luck to you.
Nobody can be successful with the Amway system if you don't understand what you are doing, and just a few people try to do something different to what they have done forever, and they obtain the same old results. The education system works, but You need a change of attitude and a different point of view. Do you know what is a toroid ? Try the toroid in 3 dimensions, the Balanced Vector and the coded design of 64 faces. And there is the answer, now if you want to confirm and to know how fast yo can do it, have a look to the Relativity Theory, and there is the answer. Amway works, because is designed to work for everyone. Easy if you want from the scientific point of view ! Not for idiots like you !
Exactly , if you are not like the brainless proud hater, a true loser !
Congratulations !!! Ignore the losers !
A boring loser , please close your big mouth, brainless !
Tio Nacho, tu eres un burro.
Notice how this asshole "Tio Nacho" spouts the semi-mystical bullshit that one expects from cults. He goes on about "toroids" and "Balanced Vectors" and the "Relativity Theory" and "the coded design of 64 faces." What utter claptrap! Is Amway a real business, or a lecture about the landing of aliens in Roswell?
This "Tio Nacho" is a prime example of how Amway can really pull the wool over somebody's eyes with all sorts of mindless fake baloney.
Stop listening to people who dont dove the life that you want.stop making decisions based on what somebody who is too afraid to put his name down has to say. You wouldnt site this page in a school essay why would you make a life changing decision based on it? Does it work? Yes! Is it easy? Absolutely not.
Stop looking for easy and start working for results.
Funny, I get to go to my uplines house monthly they've literally been retired since their 30s, and aren't even diamonds. They may or may not have a diamond a downline now haha pretty sweet. You're income is based on the results you create so you can earn more than your upline if you work hard enough.
Better hope theres not another recession or inflation in the future or your savings might run out sooner than exected
You're complaining that persons post here as "Anonymous," and yet you are posting here under the name "Unknown"?
Are you stupid or something?
Joecool... Question... You mentioned you ran a 4000 Pv business, right?
Was that only on one leg or was it on two or more legs?
I sponsored 12 frontline legs. I had a solid business based on my parameters.
Dear Joe --
It looks like the little shithead "Unknown" isn't coming back to answer you. I guess he's at a loss to explain how your twelve frontline legs were a mistake, and that it was all your fault, not Amway's.
He might be consulting with his up-line to find out what sort of phony answer will work best.
I came here because I have been introduced recently to this thing. I am not sure but it is called Network Marketing. This is what I got as a message from a guy, "I’m working on a global opportunity along with my job and looking for some open minded people to expand it. Do you keep interest to have a parallel source of income along with your current profession?" Also when I asked him details he said,"We are into online distribution, business development side. Where we combine the similar model of Amazon and Facebook and help fortune 500 companies to generate revenue through a concept of virtual mall and private franchisee over internet. And we have a standard profit sharing model. This is the high level Business overview."
To Anonymous at 1:42 AM --
The message that you received is pure MLM bullshit. Don't fall for it. "Network Marketing" is just a fancy name for a pyramid scheme. There is no connection with "Fortune 500" companies, and very little profit is made by those who sign up.
There is no "global opportunity" for you. Ignore the man's message, and delete it.
If this is true, that you are a millionaire, all the money you made comes from the 99% if people who failed at your MLM. These people had to purchase products for themselves and lost a lot of money trying to make it. So if you helped a handful of people become millionaires, how many people did you help scam out of their money? Probably hundreds or thousands. it is all a numbers game. The longer you "work hard" and "keep at it" just means that you are willing to continue making money off of people who fail. Is that ethical to you? Or can you prove to me that the money that you receive comes from actual sales of actual products to consumers outside of the system?

I am not an IBO, nor am I a millionaire, what I am is an alcoholic and a druggie ( going on to 19 years of sobriety). All these comments are correct. You Reap what you sow. I love the people of amway.
If you are a gutless wonder and post as an anonymous - who cares what you think? Amaway is just a distribution platform - it is a marvelously crafted company processes orders and pays people who produce in a very fair fashion. People place orders. Get off your rusty dusty and Build your Life.
As for those who are 50 years old and never saw the plan, you can call the AMway Corporation and they will refer you to a successful, producing IBO in your area who can be your mentor. Like anything else, those who succeed are those who are positive, find the good in the day, and help others before themselves. Blessings. Alice Saddler
Amway does not work and never will for the simple fact that all MLMs are scams and there is no reason for them to exist. Amway’s products are overpriced crap and Amway sells nothing you can’t find in any Walmart or Target for much less.
I thought Amway was a scam too but the guy that sponsored seemed nice and he helped me make my money back right away. I made $210 my first month about 125 my second month and 340 my 3rd month just from selling to friends and family It cost me 62 dollars to sign up So I'm a happy camper:) and I'm 20 with out a job so Thank you Amway lol. I should make between 400-500 (month 6 now) I sponsored 2 people and I have 1 friend that wants to try it with me as well. Plus the products seem pretty high quality. I love the shower gel is and the laundry detergent so far.
why doesn't everyone make money. its not easy you just have to hustle a little and youll get paid too!I made over 700 in my first 3 months
To answer most of your questions...
1. Amway provides high quality products, "I just want this to be clear."
2. If you haven't tried Amway then why provide a comment.
3. Amway has partnered with Apple, Home Depot, AT&T, Nike, etc.
4. Amway will only work if you have the mindset of it. What i mean is that you must educate yourself on disciplining yourself towards your money. People spend their profits on something else unrelated to the business and that may be the reason why they don't have the money. In any case you don't necessary need to spend the money on books, audios, and seminars but, they're there and will provide you a change in the mindset on how to manage your money, people, and selling the product.
"If you don't think that's how a business works, well believe me because it is not just me but have heard many stories from successful and failed jobs from people outside of Amway."
First of all if you've not started your own business here's an idea of what occurs...
(This all depends where you live) You need at least $5000 USD or more to even start a business. The paperwork will take up hours, days, or even months. There's a chance your business may fail and spend thousands more or even go bankrupt.
For those that did successfully start or sold their business do tell that they went through the same process in keeping that positive mindset and make many errors before growing as a person and succeeding through. With Amway you're given a chance to even start your first business and if your unsatisfied you can even get a full refund within their terms or have to pay a smaller bill than owning your own business elsewhere. It's basically giving you the essentials but if you do decide to grow the Amway business then you must do the rigorous training any other person is bound to do in any other business otherwise you'll fail. The more you educate yourself the higher the probability you'll succeed. Likewise the audios, seminars, books, and the plan... honestly it's not difficult to go through the process the only thing rigorous about it is being stubborn and not wanting to do it. yes, there's people who's doing it and failing but either you work until the goal or you give yourself a "I give up" pat in the back
REALLY THATS THE ONLY HARD THING ABOUT THIS BUSINESS AND WHY MANY FAIL.
***Please note I will not be responding to any comments below this but keep in mind this is just partial information and is incomplete however, it does give a brief overview of what to expect when being with Amway.
To Anonymous at 2:02 PM --
One glaring untruth in your comment is the absurd claim that Amway is "partnering" with big companies like Apple, Home Depot, AT&T, Nike, etc.
That is one of the biggest lies ever uttered. What the hell does the weasel-word "partnering" actually mean? It means that these big companies allow Amway to sell some of their products for a small discount to IBO members. That's all.
The connection between Amway and these large corporations is meaningless. If I have a small gas station, and I sell some bottles of Coca-Cola from my vending machine, does that mean that I'm "partnering" with Coca-Cola?
You claim that it is "not necessary" for IBOs to purchase the books, audiotapes, and seminars. I'm sure you know very well that if an IBO refuses to buy these things, he will be shunned by his up-line and treated like a pariah.
You go on and on about the need for hard work and a "positive mindset." Are you saying that the 99% of persons who fail in Amway didn't work hard, and didn't have a positive mindset? Why don't you read the scores of testimonials given here and at other websites from IBOs who worked their hearts out, and still went broke and had their lives wrecked by Amway?
Well, I suppose you've made it convenient for yourself by saying that you don't intend to reply.
After reading all this I would say this person isn’t willing to put in the work. I would say you love your comfort zone more than walking outside of the box.
Listen, you either understand the fundamentals of how you scale or you don’t. At no point does it say everyone will be successful at it. So it’s apparent that you gave up thinking that your Upline was getting rich off you. You gave up because you didn’t take it serious enough. You gave up because you had poor mentor.
I’ve been in for 7 months, I have 4 legs and 5 customers. Fuck I sucked at talking to people, but you know what? I got much more confident a it because I didn’t want to be like you, Blame someone or something because of your own lack of work. Or your one of people who went out and bought $10000 of product and stood around and said now what!!
Like I said maybe it’s not the platform, maybe it’s you
Michael Murphy, you're a jackass.
You have "four legs"? You know what that means? You have four persons who have temporarily been deluded (like you) into thinking that they can get rich in Amway. How long do you think they will actually stay?
You have "five customers"? Who's that? Your mom, your Aunt Milly, your brother-in-law, your best friend, and your dog? Anybody who can only scrounge up five customers in seven months is a failure as a salesman. Unless you're selling to a lot more people than that, it's clear you have a problem.
If you really want to convince us of anything, tell us how much money you have spent so far in your Amway business, and how much money you have made in the past seven months. Actual figures, Michael Murphy. Not bullshit about "fundamentals of how you scale"(whatever the fuck that means).
Tell me your story then? Apparently you are the only one who has the valid point on this page so educate me? Better yet tell me why you failed and why you quit?
Wow you’re hostility tells me you sold yourself into thinking you would be an overnight success.
It’s unfortunate you talk shit behind a keyboard, probably why you never did anything with the business, if you even did try it. I’m not naïve to think this business will just happen out of thin air. I have 3 other successful businesses so I don’t really care on what you say. I personally know what Diamonds and emeralds in this business. I talk with them often, like 3-4 times a week because I’m actually doing something.
I invested 200 to sign up. I spend 60 per month in training. And I buy products because I actually do like them. I get phenomenal education, personal development and an opportunity to hang around high level optimistic thinkers. None like you!
Your the kind of person I can’t tolerate because you think your shit doesn’t stink, it’s my why or the highway. Get the fuck out of here, your the little bitch who hides behind a keyboard. Your the kind who probably is yelling at your mom to make you some fuckin meatloaf. Lazy, think everyone owes you something.
The fact that you sit on here and troll people to argue is Pathetic. I deal with dickweeds like you all the time. It’s not my fault you failed and quit. I fire mother fuckers like you to because you cast a bad stigma in my organizations. That’s why you try to justify it. Listen, there are two ways to build the tallest building! Tear everyone else’s down( which you do) or build one so strong and tall (like mine) that I’d casts a shadow over yours, which pisses you off more.
Better yet Mr salesman help me understand your viewpoint, or you got nothing. Educate me? It’s not the system, it’s you!
Michael Murphy Jr you are a prime example of the types of arrogant con men who are in this Amway scheme. Aren't you Amway people suppose to be "Christians" who care about people? Yet your on a blog heated because someone called out your scam "business" and you are using foul language and name calling. How does that make you look? Who would want to join this scheme under you if they see your comments here?? The only thing you have done here is prove how brainwashed and awful people in Amway and it's training groups truly are. Good job sir, I am sure whoever is above you in this pyramid scheme/ cult is very proud of you ( sarcasm).
Looks like I really got under your skin, Mikey! By the time you got to your last three paragraphs, you were spluttering with so much rage that your command of English grammar failed.
You still haven't told us how much money you are making so far in Amway. You spend $60 per month on training tools, and you also buy an unspecified number of Amway products. Assuming you get a check from Amway, you have to be spending at least $300 on those products in order to make your proper PV level. That's $360 per month, and you haven't even mentioned whether you go to the scheduled functions, or to the weekly meeting (which also have to be paid for).
You have "three other successful businesses"? Good for you. So why the hell would you get involved in a two-bit pyramid scam like Amway? Amway is a 24/7 job for anyone who tries to make serious money in it. Close to 99% of IBOs in Amway don't make a dime, regardless of their efforts. If you're such a big-shot businessman as you claim, why would you join a nickel-and-dime operation for losers?
You know what, Mikey? I think you're a liar.
So how much are you making, in actual fact? And don't give me any bullshit jargon about "fundamentals of how you scale."
No you honestly didn’t get under my skin. Still you’ve yet to answer anything I’ve ask so I’m not going to waste anymore time with this.
You replied at 10:13 am which means you literally crawled out of bed to message back. Which also tells me your not working.
Amway is a platform that is utilized.
I bet you feel in control right now? Am I right?
Sounds like the typical person who blames everything on everyone else because they have zero control over their own life.
Apparently it’s meaningful to you to try to trigger people. Tells me a lot about why you fail at pretty much everything you do right? So you justify it by attacking anyone who actually makes something work or over comes an obstacle you couldn’t.
Listen, I study personal development a lot, which the support side of Amway is phenomenal. Since you know everything, you know it’s not in correlation to the platform.
I would argue many points but to be honest I’d be wasting my time because you’ll never be fulfilled until you felt like you won. Am I’m not going to give you that privilege.
Let me ask a serous question, what makes you think just because I have 3 other successful businesses, why would that disqualify me from wanting to learn something different?? Every think that I use all things to learn how to increase me and my other businesses? Probably never crossed your mind did it?
Funny thing is, you let this blog control your life, your emotions, and To validate why you will never grow until you let go.
Listen I’m doing fine but you on the other hand. LOST in your own mess.
Best of luck friend
“ In order for things to change, you’ve got to change”
Mail me I'll explain you about the business and within a year without investment you be Rich...
Michael, actually, though being critic, having 3 businesses and being an Amway member makes sense to me. It is because I saw such a cases too in my country. Guys with profitable businesses become members to create additional costs in their businesses - lowering their tax duty and making the points in Amway system. So it does not cost them any real money and they are still taking a part in the "business" and make their monthly portion of points.
The thing is, I would still rather further develop and invest into what is profitable, than throwing the money down the Amway drain. But guess in many cases it is sort of buying a friendship of so called Amway business men and somewhere deep inside these guys know, but as it does not cost them the money, because their businesses make the quotas for them, they do not care.
Btw. how is business in corona times? Have heard of some WWDB diamondships falling apart completely to the point, that diamonds need to sell their house.
Mikey, I'm the Anonymous who posted at 10:13 AM. I happen to be working at home, teaching my university classes on-line, because of this Wuhan flu epidemic. Yes, I'm a professor at a major university. And I feel perfectly "in control" of my very well paid career.
Amway is "a platform that is utilized"? Do you see what's happened to your mind, Mike? You are spouting jargon and mindless drivel. You might just as well have said a toilet seat "is a platform to be sat upon." It MEANS NOTHING!
If you have "three successful businesses," why in blazes would you sign up in Amway, when Amway itself admits in its published literature that 99% of Amway IBOs don't make money? Would you buy a stock with that kind of reputation? And you still refuse to answer the question about how much actual profit you have seen in your seven months in the Amway racket. With your five customers, that can't be much, can it?
Of course, it's typical that you have fallen back on the tired old excuse of every Amway freak -- namely, that Amway provides "personal development." What garbage! All Amway provides its IBOs with is hype, hoopla, "rah-rah-let's-go-team" slogans, fake religion, and fraudulent love-bombing. You call that kind of crap "personal development"? What planet are you from, Mike? You're being conned by those Amway scum, who know that you are successful and affluent, and who simply want you in their down-line so that they can bleed you monthly for useless tools, and four times a year for function fees.
You wont learn a thing from Amway that will help you in your other businesses. All you'll learn is the truth of what I've been telling you. Wise up, Mikey!
Also, if Michael Murphy Jr. is so gung-ho about Amway, why did he come here to visit an anti-Amway website? Could it be that he has some secret doubts in the back of his mind?
Jesus the fact that so many people fight tooth and nail in this blog post to support the business, and degrade others for choosing a typical path of working in a business should be enough to turn anyone away. Yes some people probably have their lives improved and turned out wealthyish ($65k/year is still not great). But do they tell you about the downlines they had that aren't successful and have lost money? The average salary for an amway employee ibo whatever you call it is $200 a month. Now that's an average, when theses premium members or whatever you call it make good money, $100k+ a year how many people are making negative to bring that average down. I'm sure within the company it's a very supportive culture but being a decent person you should bring that everywhere and not bring down others for disagreeing with your life choices. This stuff sound way too much like Scientology and the amount of people here supporting amway just goes to show they seek out these negative blogs to spout the "truth". This works for some and harms a lot more.
Amway isn't a "supportive culture." It's a controlling and dominating culture. When you are seriously wrapped up in the Amway racket (called "being CORE"), your entire life is under the scrutiny of your up-line, 24/7.
Your up-line insists that it has the right to tell you how to live, what to think, whom to marry (or divorce), what to buy, how many children to have (if any), where to live, what sort of car to drive, and even what kind of business suit to wear to an Amway function. In the AMO run by the maniac Don Wilson (WOW), women had to wear dresses that covered their ankles.
This is why Amway and its various AMO subsystems are now recognized as "business cults," with all the evil constraints that cults impose upon their members.
wow i just read all of this and i am definitely not joining Amway. I was already a little skeptic of the company and now that i see what other people have to say about the company. I don't want to be part of it. Before anyone says im siding with the "haters" the non haters are just as bad too. I read the comment about how amway is this and that. you guys really didn't handle situation well and if this is actually how you guys act this a big NO for me. Have a wonderful day/night.

Thanks for your comments!
My goodness! Somehow while scrolling this page came to my notice and I'm surprised so many people across the world have so much misconceptions. Myself a successful Amway Direct Seller building my own business happily and peacefully with all my team members starting from 0% each one of my teammembers are happy and enjoying profit according to whatever work they are doing and I am greatful that most of my downlines are sensible enough to understand that money can be earned only through effort and discipline so before blaming anyone else they try to correct and improve their own efforts and receive results as per that. Anyway, I read many posts and concluded only one thing..All those who commented here are correct from their own standpoints and experiences. But those who had bitter experiences perhaps you were misguided. Because upline pressurizing to buy tools, freshly joined people losing money, these are not even relevant to Amway system. Ofcourse anyone can question upline, ofcourse anyone can challenge the system based on logics, anyone can monitor their growth or profitability independently, and then take decisions or act. That's the original system. So instead of depending on public reviews one should actually directly interact with the company through official websites, emails, office, seminars, webinar, etc to know in detail and then take any decision. If someone is courageous and sensible enough to do this self analysis independently, then for that person Amway is the best platform to be in
Your team members are enjoying profit? Is that a net profit or gross profit which becomes a loss after factoring in business expenses?
To Anonymous at 3:35 AM, on November 7:
If you're doing so well in the Amway racket, why the hell have you come here to an anti-Amway website?
Another question: What the fuck does it mean when you say that "Amway is a platform"? Do you even know what the word "platform" means?
Another question: What do you mean by "the original system" of Amway? Do you mean that it is now different from what it used to be? If so, then you have implicitly admitted that the racket has changed for the worse.
Another question: If you claim that up-line doesn't pressure down-line to buy tools, or if you claim anybody can "challenge the system" in Amway without being penalized, aren't you lying through your teeth?
And please note -- if you try to answer any of this, please do it in correct English. You won't convince anyone of anything if you're semi-literate.
As an IBO I was always told to buy tools and attend functions. There is no doubt that your success in the business hinged on doing these things
No -- THEIR success in the business hinged on your doing these things.
When you fail at something because you're not willing to listen to mentors who have built a huge business, you pretend you know what you're talking about a post a blog that gets a couple other failures to nod with you that you're right. Too funny. Good luck with...yeah, just good luck.
How do you know these mentors are successful? They don’t verify their income claims. They say things and prospects and IBOs are supposed to blindly believe it.
Joe, Anonymous at 8:11 PM doesn't know a damned thing.
All he says (without any proof) is that you have to listen to "mentors," that they have built a "huge business," and that anyone who comes here to post is a "failure." It's just the same old canned Amspeak bullshit, spouted by every up-line creep.
Let me say this to Anonymous at 8:11 PM -- tell us about your success so far in Amway. How much money have you spent on the racket? How much have you lost? How big a down-line have you developed? What's your monthly PV been?
And by the way -- if you're such a big fan of Amway, why are you here at an anti-Amway website? Could it be that, deep down, you're a bit worried and unsure about the entire Amway scam?
Come on, jerk-off at 8:11 PM -- let's see if you have any REAL answers.
how fast can you be to get the new PROGRAMMED cloned ATM card that is capable of hacking into any ATM machine, anywhere in the world. I got to know about this CARD when I was searching for a job online about a month ago. It has really changed my life for good and now I can say I’m rich and I can never be poor again. The least money I get in a day with it is $10000. Only serious individuals should contact them. Every now and then I keep pumping money into my account. There is no risk of being caught, because it has been programmed in such a way that it is not traceable. For details on how to get yours today,
