Amway "Mentors" Or Crooks?

The really insidious part about some of the LOS leaders, such as the ones I had in WWDB, is that they apparently are cutthroat ruthless businessmen with nice suits, and disguised as your mentors and friends. They get you to trust them, and they will tell you that they have your best interest at heart, or that they would never purposely lead you astray. On the surface, you may think this is true, but look at their actions and you can easily discern that some of these uplines are absolutely ruthless businessmen who would take every cent from you if they could. I was in WWDB and I have good reasons to believe that they are still doing this, based on a WWDB IBO blog. On this blog, I see all the same teachings today, that I heard as an IBO and some of the same claims such as buying homes in cash. It's scary.

As an IBO, the diamonds would tell you to never miss a function, ever. The only good reason for missing a function was for your own funeral. I recall some crossline IBOs rearranging pre-planned anniverssary parties, weddings, and other special family events in the name of being core and attending all functions. Some IBOs actually did quit their jobs to attend functions and they very well may have done so because some uplines taught this. IBOs were also encouraged and told to go into debt to attend a function. This was okay because it was an investment into your business.

Our group was also strongly encouraged to buy extra cds every week. To be core, you needed to listen to a cd each day and you cannot listen to the same one each day right? Couples were told to buy their own seperate standing orders. Brad Duncen even had a true north tape (cd) that said sponsors were to eat the standing orders for downlines who quit because it was too much trouble to call upline who calls upline who calls upline to cancel a standing order. Oddly enough, they didn't mind upline calling upline calling upline to add a standing order.

In the end, I was lucky enough to have been progressing up the pin ranks so my losses were not that devastating. I ended up losing in my early months of the business but mostly broke even when I was at 4000 PV. Sadly though, my crossline did not fare so well. I know of one couple who declared bankruptcy. I don't know how much their WWDB involvement contributed to bankruptcy, but I am certain it was a major factor and I know of two couples who had homes foreclosed, and I believe that their allegiance to WWDB was a factor in those foreclosures. But I guess hey, two WWDB diamonds had homes foreclosed so maybe they were duplicating?

Do not be fooled. The diamonds may have a nice smile and a nice suit, but they are ruthless businessmen who will take your last dime if you allow them to.

You know I just had a meeting with a friend of mine who got into the Amway foundation a few months ago. Hes been bugging me ever since to check out his group of people and join the Amway corp. So I finally went to a meeting tonight and it was kind of intriguing don't get me wrong. My friend had his mentor speak who is all business like and had some catchy words. My real question is "Can I really make any money from this?" < That is of course why I am looking on the internet now for answers and I found across your blog :P Being full time with a decent job and going to school I don't know if I have more then 5 hours a week to do anything but since your blog seems accurate would you mind giving me the lowdown as if I was a new member to Amway and what the benefits are or aren't? I'm 75% for doing Amway 25% for not.

Hey Joecool, how's things.
We went through the exodus from "the cult" about 2006. I was active on several blogs back then posting as x-believer. Glad to see you are still fighting the good fight and spreading the word about the lying, thieving kingpins running the scam that we were all caught up in at one point. Hope things are going well for you. Best wishes from downunder!

X-Believer! Good to hear from you and thanks for visiting!

Yeah, I'm still here. I was about to quit a few times but IBOFB's BS kept the fire burning in me to keep going for now.

Glad to see you are well and still around. Hope your family is well. Please visit again soon.

Joe

Anonymous,

If you are interested, what are you interested in? If it's residual income, etc. you might be interested to know that very very few people ever reach a point where some residual income rolls in. These are usually long time tenured diamonds and not people who joined recently. I believe the market has saturated in the US.

Also, do an unbiased price comparison and see if you think you might be able to sell the product.

Lastly, ask about how much the monthly training costs will be as this is usually the reason why IBO's lose money.

Uhh Joecool (aka Steve Nakamura, known for illegal online sex activities, and other sham deals), is lying when he is saying that there is not "new people" making residual income.

I've seen a new diamond couple, along with many double eagle rubies make it in these recent times to an income of $100,000 and beyond.

Joecool just has no life and wants to justify to the world why everyone should be a broke loser like him.

Oh no, he's gonna tell me that I'm brainwashed now.

Anon, since you're so brave. let me know your name and pin level,

Here's your IP address from San Jose: 76.102.109.229
Comcast cable, Firefolx browser.

You're not only brainwashed, you're not as anonymous as you think.

LOOOL, my name is Pierre, and I'm not afraid to show you who I am. I'm not a little 45 year old loser like you who hides behind the screen and talks shit and still denies his identity.

Oh no, he got my IP address and tracked my location! I honestly don't care what you do.

My pin level? Oh, I'm just a prosumer right now. The furthest I have gotten is 1000 pv but I've been a bit lazy to build it in these recent months. Doesn't mean I'm gonna quit though.

Anyways, my point is I've seen people in my area succeeding and breaking through, especially with the new diamond couple recently. In any case, are you going to judge me because of my pin level now?

Hi Pierre AKA anonymous from San Jose. You've been banned from the blog for leaving racial slurs, and other vile and puerile comments. You're a shining example of IBO integrity. No wonder so many of you fail when you can't even act civilized,

I think pierre doesnt realise that these diamond couples might be lying... or that their NET PROFIT is actually much lesser or negative than what they claim their income to be. :/

Pierre is AKA anonymous from San Jose. He's a failed IBO living in his mum's basement because he's broke and cannot afford a place because he spent all his money on Amway products and seminars. LOL. Maybe he will snap out of it after he hits rock bottom financially. LOL

There is a sucker born every minute of every single day in the USA. They work by brainwashing and if you're not mentally solid, they will do that to you. I went to WMU in the late 1970's. My then wife mentioned that one of the folks at her church wanted to talk to us and give a presentation. I asked her what it was about, and she either didn't know or pleaded the 5th, either way I could smell a rat. But I wanted to hear him out, and as I figured he let the rat out after drawing a bunch of circles on a board. The rat was Amway with DeVos and Van Andel. Looked like a pyramid scheme to me, so I simply dismissed it and continued on the old hard way: The one of studying and honest hard work.

But I did get to see an Amway rally. They would trash the names of people who quit Amway. Looked like a political rally to me with all the rah! Rah! bs. My wife's youngest sister and her husband were so brainwashed by Amway that they cooled off to us because we saw the Amway scheme for the nonsense it was.

I did get my degree at WMU in Kalamazoo, stuck with it. Now years later here are the results:

The Amway "bunch" I knew all failed, and within 2 years Amway was no longer a part of their mundane existence. They all went back to working at factories for peanuts. As for me, I stuck with education. I make a prosperous 6-figure income, and left the factory in Three Rivers, Michigan for which I worked previous to that. Like I said there's a sucker born every minute, and some of them worked for Amway.
