Amway IBOs And Edification?

Edification. During my time in the Amway business, we saw many IBOs get edified, including myself. Of course it felt great when your upline platinum or diamond would say something that made you stand out in the crowd. For example, I remember an IBO being exalted because he quit his job to attend a major function. His boss wouldn't allow him to use vacation time so he quit to attend the function. I remember Brad Wolgamott telling people it's just a job, attend the function and get another one (job). I remember at a family reunion function, a man was edified by the diamonds because he was diagnosed with terminal cancer but instead of being at home and bitching and moaning, there he was at an Amway function, making a difference in the world they would say. But looking back, I truly believe that the upline's intentions were to uplift those who went thru extraordinary efforts to spend money on tools or functions. They wanted the downline to make extraordinary efforts to get to functions. It makes sense since uplines make significant income from tools and functions.

In other words, you are buying your edification. Of course when I say you are buying your edification, you are not necessarily doing so in dollars. It can either be in dollars or in time. For example, you may have been edified for listening to 15 standing orders in one day, or you may be edified for driving the miles to show plans, even if the guest was a no-show. I also recall some IBOs in the group being edified for 1000 PV personal use in a month. I honestly don't know who anyone can possibly do 1000 PV in personal use without the purchase of some big ticket items. I mean how much SA8 or LOC can anyone use in the month? I suppose that you could make Nutrilite vitamins your main source of food or something like that and move a lot of PV, but it's ridiculous to spend that much on personal use. And I highly doubt that IBOs are moving Amway products like hotcakes, given the high prices and additional shipping costs.

So to what extent are you willing to go to get ediified? For my upline sponsor, it was what he lived for. My sponsor was/is a physician and he therefore could have a nice lifestyle without Amway but he was more interested in the recognition and edification. He ate it up when he was asked to speak at a function once. He told the group in a nite owl that the dream of being on stage as a diamond was more important to him than the money. Sadly, he never got beyond the platinum level as far as I know and last I heard, he was below 4000 PV. Whatever your dream or reason for building Amway, I honestly believe you need to look at the cost of it. For example, you wouldn't sell your soul to the devil in order to go diamond. I actually wonder how my former sponsor feels these days now that our upline diamond (his hero) has moved to Washington and he cannot spend much time with him anymore?

The cost of edification in Amway is high. Are you willing to foot that bill? I'm glad I woke up and decided that there are much better ways to spend my time, money and efforts. Joecool's blog is one of the better things. :-)

The only edification I experienced was. Seeing my schoolmate being edified. For purchasing tools and attending all functions. We had a small group of 20 students. None of us had employment or any income to buy anything. Upline platinum and later a diamond. Said our friend is on his way and will be successful for being core. He looked at the rest of us making sarcastic remarks. Unless there's a prospect at the house meeting. Back then it was more important to buy food. Then spend it on tools or products.

Steve Nakamura, aka JoeCool, was an IBO in Hawaii in 1995/1996 for less than a year, downline of Diamonds Scott & Cris Harimoto, part of WWDB. He claims to have reached the 4000PV before quitting after his upline suggested he should break up with his girlfriend. He has created numerous anti-Amway blogs and is active as an anti-Amway commentator in many other forums. He has been caught creating fake personas and fake blogs and comment posts in order to damage Amway and BSM companies reputations. Anonymous comments by someone who clearly knows him "in real life" have indicated that one of JoeCool's former downline has since qualifed at Platinum.

You're exactly right but your upline doesn't make as much money from you unless you buy tools so they deify those who purchase them. It makes perfect sense.

Not sure why you posted this here. I'm not Steve Nakamura and that wiki article was written by David Steadson, AKA IBOFB, AKA IBOFightback, AKA Insider, AKA Icerat, AKA Insider 201283. Steadson is a well know liar and considered the biggest Amway shill on the internet. He's got no credibility.

I always thought joecools blogs where fairly accurate describing Amway and the tool kings. All I know is I've seen first hand how these diamonds in Amway don't last very long in this. The damage is done by the internet .....with or without joecool. Most of the diamonds when I was involved are no longer active or struggling to get back to diamond.

Thank you for that comment. David Steadson AKA IBOFIghtback has slandered and libeleb me making grossly inaccurate observations and telling lies about me in an effort to discredit me. However, my blog is just my own experience and I still see people confirming that the diamonds are pulling the same crap now that they did in many years past. Diamond is not all that great. We can see that diamonds are not living large on residual income. The residual income that diamonds hope and pray for are the tool and function purchases made by unsuspecting IBOs.

Stop pretending,we all know who your real identity, come on,let meet in person face to face if you are dare to prove that you are not what others are saying about you.No ball is it?I guess so!Haha, big liar!

Joe,i mean your blogs are awesome. Every bit of real comments help people to get out of this hellish cult groups. Ibofb and others know even if joecool never existed. Theres enough bad info that its nearly impossible to build anything. I think you and others have said the Amway name alone is very bad

Thanks for your comments. It's appreciated!

Stop pretending what? If you know who I am, go ahead and prove it. Why should I waste my time meeting a loser like you?

Loser is always a loser, just same like you,bye bye!!!

Joecool said...

Yeah, there's a new diamond here and there but more diamond have dropped out than there are new ones. Not sure about making a comeback.

I'm seeing a more rapid increase in north american Amway pricing. Might be wrong but its to make up for the volume lost by diamonds who quit, terminated, etc.

Joecool said...

I believe the growth that IBOs claim in Amway US is due to the same number of IBOs with higher prices.

Haha,is it how you chicken mum taught u?Saying others are prostitute and chicken?Better take a piece of mirror and look at yourself first, your face are full of shit!

Joecool said...

You're the one who chickened out. Speaking of chicken, how much did you lose in Amway? I bet you have a net loss. That's why you live in your mum's basement. LOL

Yes,of course I have a net loss because my parents achieved Emerald within 2 years although they are doing Amway using part-time because they have own family business.Satisfied?I lose, you win, okay?
