Your Belief In Amway?

I often hear stories and testimonies about how some people (usually newbies) have this incredible belief in Amway, their sponsors and their LOS, such as WWDB or Network 21. Being that many, possibly most IBOs are sponsored by a friend or family member, means that there is an inherent trust in the sponsor or upline. If that were not true, then we would likely see many more complaints about Amway and/or the uplines and lines of sponsorship.

But an important facet of being an IBO is to have a dream. Don't let "naysayers" steal your dream, is what many IBOs are told. But what is that dream? Is is a dream (a long term attainable goal) or a wish such as winning the powerball lottery? Many prospects and IBOs want to succeed. They are willing to work hard, and are very dedicated, I would say that these folks usually will end up failing, not for lack of effort, but for a flawed MLM/Amway system that cannot possibly reward more than a few. The famed 6-4-2, 6-4-3 or some other variation of the plan will illustrate that only 1 in 100 or so can be "platinum". And that's with nobody quitting. Factor in attrition and "do nothings" and it might be 1 in 200 who can reach platinum. Even if the whole world signed up for Amway, that fact doesn't change.

Do you really believe in Amway and your line of sponsorship such as WWDB or Network 21? If you truly believe in Amway and your metors, I challenge you to do one of these things. If you can't or won't, then I question your level of commitment. I question your belief. I'm not here to steal your dream. I am just challenging you.

Take your 6-4-2 or 9-4-2 or 6-4-3 plan to a loan officer at a bank and show them the plan. (Hey, it will help you be CORE) Ask the loan officer for their opinion of the plan and see if you can get a business loan based on the Amway plan. If not that, try seeking the advice of a real millionaire (Someone who has a net worth of a million bucks) and see if they think the 6-4-2 or other Amway (version) plans can work and whether they think Amway is a good idea. Heck, try asking your church Pastor. My church Pastor said Amway had too many false hopes and promises to be considered a viable business option.

How strong is your belief in Amway? Strong enough to take my challenge? Or will you ignore this and go on fooling yourself?

At some point you gotta realize the dam thing just isn't profitable enough. That your personality isn't cut out and not a snake oil salesman or a cult leader. Some people can't deal with being labelled a loser or quitter. But its like a gambling addict. When you quit gambling you end up a winner. Cutting your losses and moving on.

I agree. Fortunately for me, I was in for a short time, made money from Amway but lost it on tools as advised by my uplines who "had my best interest at heart" I figured it out pretty quickly and got out without losing too much. After I quit, I really felt at peace and found I had so much free time on my hands.

Been reading ibofb site about identity of Anna banana. Had a good laugh at his reasoning to prove who she is. I didn't bother afterwards to read why he thinks joecool identity. Now I think the guy is just nuts and doesn't work for Amway. Maybe all those years as a ibo messed him up

IBOFB AKA David Steadson is nuts. He thinks he uncovered my identity from blogs and comments. He's so far off track but doesn't realize it. I think he needs mental help.

I'd like Shaun Guthrie from Edmonton, AB Canada to come back and tell us why it didn't work. He was going to be free....period. Never happened. He even sold his condo and cashed out savings to pay down debt at the behest of his uplink, and from what I can gather on his Twitter, he's looking at getting back into real estate 'cause he was looking for a house..

He seemed like a good guy, just sadly and fundamentally misguided on so many levels.

You hardly ever hear about the reason why people quit which I find sad. It would be nice to see if people quit for generally the same reason, or for different reasons altogether.

Sadly ibofb site is one of the recommended sites. A new or current ibo is told to read regarding critics online. Ive seen this first hand of a platinum trying to brainwash a ibo. Its easier for us to see its bullshit because were out of the scam

Rocket, great point. Shaun was very "gung-ho" when he got started in Amway and he was actually open and honest about his experience. Later, his upline probably told him to to clam up because "critics" were filling his head with "negative". I truly wonder about Shaun also because he was making some money in Amway (per his own claim) and made some bold claims about retiring his wife and retiring himself very soon. But instead, his blog disappeared and based on his twitter account, it looks like he's no longer in Amway. I was a 4000 PV IBO and I quit because there was no net profit. I did as upline advised and reinvested my profits into the tools. Luckily I saw thru the scam after a few months and got out. Many IBOs aren't as lucky.

Is that true? That the groups have their groups look at IBOFB's (David Steadson) website as a source of credibility? IBOFB is a known liar when it comes to promoting Amway and MLM. He also told many lies in an effort to discredit me. He's attacked me without refuting my viewpoints and experiences in Amway.

Seen this first hand within the past 12 months. Where a new ibo was told ibofb site was credible by a wwdb platinum. I'm sure there are other groups using his site also. Doesn't matter if he's a known liar. Most of Amway leaders are known liars also

I never seen Shaun's blogs. That sounds nuts selling the condo and cashing out savings. More bogus advice from leaders. Which group was he part of? At first I thought you two where talking about camerons blog

Shaun's blog is now gone. But yes, at his wise upline's advice, he sold his condo and cashed out his 401K to eliminate his debt. That is fine and dandy until he wants to retire and must now start saving all over again. Last I heard he was renting a place and he was thinking how great it was that he had no debt. Having a mortgage isn't that bad. It's like having your own place where the rent doesn't go up. Giving up his 401K was not a good move. These upline leaders give dangerous advice and now that Shaun is out of Amway (apparently), he'll have to deal with the bad advise he received while in the business.

IBOFB is an opinion site just like most other blogs. IBOFB also lives in Sweden so his experience will not be like most of us here in the US or Canada. I guess the power of association applies. Diamonds and IBOFB are well known liars to most people expect the brainwashed IBOs.
